If only you had compared with no bias, I would have refrained myself from writing this. In summary, you are saying “Well iMac pro has this cool thing which an iHack doesn’t but if you don’t care about it, then iHack will blow through the iMac Pro.”

Are you seriously trying to compare a Xeon with an Intel i series by merely clock speeds? They both excel in different things and are actually not the same at all. The multi core performance of Xeon is unbeatable when it comes to heavy workloads. Sure games would probably benefit overclocks. So they aren’t comparable unless you talk about the workflows where you put them.

For peripherals, a thunderbolt 3 port is a beast when it comes to what it can do. Sure you need docks and what not but the bandwidth is massive. Imagine 4 of those Plus enough USB ports. Name a single consumer motherboard which actually has more than 1 Thunderbolt 3 port without needing a card. Ohh and The 10G ethernet?

Had you built a nearly identical hackintosh and given some benchmarks, this could have been a great article.
